Built for Unreal 5
Atlas Foliage Palette is an Unreal Editor organization tool designed for projects with large foliage libraries.
Instead of trying to identify hundreds of foliage types from Unreal Engine's small Foliage Mode thumbnails, Atlas Foliage Palette gives you a dedicated visual library where foliage can be organized into your own named categories.
The default category group is Biomes, but nothing is hard-coded. Rename it and create whatever organization system fits your project: Forest, Desert, Winter, Tropical, Town, Farm, River, Mountains, Buildings, Resources, or anything else.
Existing foliage can be imported into the palette without deleting or modifying foliage already painted into your level.
Each foliage type receives a large visual preview and can be given a custom alias such as Berry Bush, Hill Grass, or Winter Pine, making large asset collections considerably easier to manage.
Atlas Foliage Palette was specifically designed so it can be introduced into an existing Unreal project containing large amounts of painted foliage.
Organizing or removing an entry from an Atlas category does not delete the Foliage Type asset or foliage instances already painted into the map.
Tested with Unreal Engine 5.7
Open-world games, survival games, large landscapes, biome-heavy environments, procedural/world-building projects, and any Unreal project containing enough foliage that the standard foliage picker becomes difficult to manage.
